This fun and educational garden tour showcases what a thriving Florida landscape can look like during the hottest months of the year. Stroll through Tenille's personal garden, winding along pathways, discovering hidden corners, and seeing firsthand how native, non-native, tropical, and wildlife-friendly plants perform during the summer season.
See established gardens filled with pollinator plants, roses, native groundcovers, tropical favorites, and even areas that receive little to no supplemental irrigation. You'll leave with ideas, inspiration, and practical tips you can apply in your own landscape.
Your admission includes:
Guided access to the garden
Educational handouts and resources
Coffee and light refreshments
Plant cuttings (while supplies last)

Plenty of opportunities to ask gardening and landscaping questions
This event is the first in a seasonal series showcasing Florida-Friendly gardens throughout the year and how landscapes change with the seasons.
We know summer in Florida is hot, which is why we're hosting this event early in the day. Fans, shaded areas, and plenty of places to rest will be available throughout the tour.
While all are welcome, some pathways are uneven and may not be suitable for all mobility levels. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
Photography is encouraged! Feel free to take photos and gather inspiration for your own garden.
Please park along the street and be considerate of neighbors by not blocking driveways or mailboxes.
